What’s Up With Mummies!!!
In 4-H we love all kinds of science, even the gross science!!! We also love MUMMIES!!! Join us to learn how mummies are made, where they can be found, and how to make your own mummies at home.
Pre-registration is required the evening before the program begins.
Please take a look at the recommended materials list! You are welcome to participate with out the materials, but will be unable to do the activities with us.
Recommended Materials
2 fresh apples
large box of table salt
large box of epsom salts
large box of baking soda
a knife
eight 12 oz disposable plastic cups
measuring cup
large mixing bowl
masking tape
sensitive balance scale or food scale (optional)
pen/marker
pencil
printouts of the mummification journal
scratch paper
*If you have two or youth in your family/home participating materials can be shared.
Registration is required the evening before the program begins.
When: Thursday, August 6th
Time: 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Where: Online via Zoom (videos will be available for those who can't access Zoom)
Cost: Free
