Cheers to the success of our inaugural Food Drive!

From October 2nd through October 31st, 2023, our community rallied together to collect food donations for the benefit of Jones County. We focused on gathering Thanksgiving side essentials like canned vegetables, stuffing, brownie mixes, cranberry sauce, and more. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Joe & Dianne Bell, Ford of Jones County, and Teffiney Maready & Jones County Senior Services, whose unwavering support helped us exceed our collection target.

With the incredible generosity of the Jones County community, we've amassed an abundance of donated items. These contributions, paired with locally-sourced whole chickens from our Jones County 4-H Chicken Project, will be thoughtfully packaged and distributed to all participants at our upcoming and entirely free Holiday Food Safety Class. Any surplus donations will be channeled towards supporting our local food pantries.

Jones County, your collaborative efforts have once again shown that together, we possess the power to bring about positive change. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to replicate this initiative in the future. Thank you for making a difference!
