NC State Extension’s Poultry Area Specialized Agents (ASAs) are launching a new way to submit requests for Nutrient Management Plans utilizing Dry Poultry Litter. Each of the Poultry ASAs has created a Google Form with all of the questions we typically ask of a producer when preparing their plan. Our hope is that this will streamline the process as we will collect all the information needed up front so that plans can be completed in a timely manner.

Producers in the eastern side of the state should use this form to request a Nutrient Management Plan for Dry Poultry Litter. If you already have a Nutrient Management Plan in place for your farm but need to update it to reflect any changes, you may utilize this form as well. Changes that would warrant an updated plan may include adding or reducing the number of houses producing poultry, change of fields receiving litter, change of type of poultry produced, etc. We can also assist you in gathering the information you need to submit a compost permit application to NCDA.
