Our Hooked on Seafood program was a success!
Hooked on Seafood. Register at www.go.ncsu.edu/hookedonseafood Starts at April 21st, 2022. 4 hands-on cooking classes, utilizing local seafood and evidence-based research regarding safe food practices. N.C. N.C. Cooperative Extension Carteret, Craven, Jones and Onslow Counties presented “Hooked on Seafood” –  A four-week program on local seafood education and cooking techniques, ending in lunchtime food demonstrations.

This program was hosted by Jones & Onslow FCS Agent, Sarah Ware, and Carteret & Craven FCS Agent, Stephanie Stevenson. The classes were held on  Thursdays, April 21st-May 12th, 2022 from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. at N.C. Cooperative Extension’s Carteret County Center.

The cost was $30 total to attend the entire program.
We had participants that lived all over North Carolina! We had so many sign ups we had to create a Waiting List!
