MATERIALS
Sample boxes are not available by mail. Pick them up at your county’s Cooperative Extension office or the Agronomic Division office in Raleigh.

FEES
NCDA’s Sampling Fee
- From November 30th, 2023 – March 31st, 2024 any samples received will need to include a $4 fee per sample box.
- Starting April 1st, 2024 – November 29th, 2024 you can submit your soil sample(s) for FREE. Be sure to drop your sample(s) off to us before November 30th to avoid the peak season fee of $4 per box!
- Payment methods for NCDA Sampling Fee:
- You can provide us with a check made out to NCDA.
- NO CASH
- Or if you’d rather pay NCDA directly online – when you fill out your Sample Information Sheet write “Invoice” and you will have to pay for your invoice online by credit card in order to view your Sample Results when they are ready.
Jones Extension Courier Fee Options
- No Rush Shipping (NEW!) – Thanks to our Regional Agronomist, we now offer FREE shipping for samples that can be sent a bit later. These samples will be sent within 2 weeks. Note that NCDA’s Sample Test fees still apply.
- Daily Shipping – Need your sample shipped immediately? We can send it right away! Our office charges a courier fee based on the sample’s weight. Our office does not keep change so please bring exact cash or check only. See the chart below for our current fees. (As of 5/28/2024)
