This summer, for 6 weeks, we will post a weekly challenge in our Jones & Onslow FCS Family Facebook Group. Participants will have one week to complete each challenge and submit a photo as proof of completion. Each challenge will be related to Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS)—promoting nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and other topics covered by our Jones & Onslow FCS Agent, Sarah Ware.

The more challenges you complete, the more points you'll accumulate, so be sure to join before the first challenge begins! While you can join later, any missed challenges will not be counted. At the end of the program, the top 3 participants with the most points will win a grand prize!

How To Play

1. Read the official rules.
2. Join the Jones & Onslow FCS Family Facebook Group. 
3. Complete as many weekly challenges as possible.
4. Post a photo of your completed challenge in the comment section of that week’s challenge post (faces are not required).
5. Earn points for each challenge you complete.

Official Rules

1. You must be a member of the Jones & Onslow FCS Family Facebook Group to participate. Facebook Pages, as well as N.C. State University and N.C. Cooperative Extension staff are not eligible to win prizes but may participate.
2. If applicable, photo must be posted in the designated challenge post each week to prove completion (faces are not required).
3. Late submissions will not be accepted. Each challenge will be posted on Mondays and must be completed by the following Monday at 8 AM. Comments will be turned off at the deadline.
4. Winners will be announced on August 5th, 2025. In the event of a tie, a bonus challenge will determine the winner.
5. All challenges are created in advance and will not be altered for individual participants. If you cannot complete one challenge, there will be others you can participate in.

Grounds for Disqualification

1. Violating Group Rules, especially: Rule #1 (Be kind and courteous) and Rule #2 (No hate speech or bullying), will result in disqualification and removal from the group.
2. Using a peer's submission, internet, or AI photos instead of your own is not allowed. We have tools to verify images, and anyone caught submitting non-original photos will be disqualified.

• Prizes are provided free of charge and have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
• Winners agree to allow their name to be publicly announced in connection with the online program.
• Winners agree that they must pick up their prize from N.C. Cooperative Extension - Jones County Center (367 NC Hwy 58 S, Unit A, Trenton, NC 28585).
• The challenge organizers are not responsible for any defects, malfunctions, or issues related to the use of awarded prizes. All prizes are provided "as is" without warranties or guarantees.
