Waste samples are lagoon and poultry litter. Be sure to label your samples with your name, county, date, and your sample ID.

MATERIALS
Sample containers are not provided by NCDA&CS or our office.
- For liquid waste, submit 12–16 oz of a representative waste sample in a plastic (not glass) bottle. Used beverage containers with the labels removed work great! Be sure to rinse the container prior to sample collection; do not use soap.
- For solid waste, submit 1–2 quarts of a representative sample in a sealed plastic bag.

NCDA's Sampling Fee
- North Carolina* growers $8 per sample
- North Carolina* researchers $12 per sample

- Or if you’d rather pay NCDA directly online – when you fill out your Sample Information Sheet write “Invoice” and you will have to pay for your invoice online by credit card in order to view your Sample Results when they are ready.
