This workshop will focus on the Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood guide and accompanying music CD.
Early childhood providers use PLT activities to engage students in actively learning about the environment inside and outside the classroom.
By attending you will:
• Receive PLT’s Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood Activity
Guide and accompanying music CD
• Identify new hands-on activities to share with learners based on the five
senses, the seasons of the year, and trees in your neighborhood
• Engage learners through song, dance, exploration, and play
• Organize a plan to infuse early childhood programming with environmental
education learning experiences
• Earn CEUs, in-service credit, or NC Environmental Education Certification
hours
CEU renewal credits are available. This workshop qualifies for Criteria I in the EE Certification Program.
This workshop is provided at no charge. Pre-registration is required. Please make a personal commitment to attend to ensure there are enough materials and space for everyone. If you must cancel, please do so in a timely manner so someone else may take your place in the workshop.
